Richard Henry Fitzherbert Moncrieff (or Moncreiff) joined the battalion as a Second Lieutenant in 1901. He was twice wounded as a company commander 1914-17 and ended the war on the War Office Staff.
His unpublished memoir runs to 78 pages.
